
Description
This self-paced training was supported by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services with assistance from The Substance Use and Mental Health Leadership Council of RI, the Executive Office of Health and Human Services and the Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals.
This course is for peer support specialists who have already taken the basic training. It is intended to build your knowledge and promote positive attitudes in working with recoverees with a history of opioid use disorder.
The course is presented in three modules:
Continuing Education Credits:
Peer Recovery Specialist CEUs: This training has been approved by the RI Certification Board for 3.0 continuing education credits (The RICB is an IC&RC affiliate).
Chemical Dependency Professional CEUs: This training has been approved by the RI Certification Board for 3.0 continuing education credits (The RICB is an IC & RC affiliate.
