This evidence-based training will explore the attitudes and views on suicide and interventions. Participants will learn Risk Factors, Behavioral Queues, Protective Factors, how to use the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale, and how to access help. This course will also assist providers in developing effective safety plans for clients at risk of suicide.
Continuing Education Credits:
Social Worker CEUs: This training has been approved by the National Association of Social Workers for 3.0 continuing education credits.
Chemical Dependency Professionals CEUs: This training has been approved by the RI Certification Board for 3.0 continuing education credits (The RICB is an IC&RC affiliate).
